Sweet dill pickles by Chef Raghu

Ingredients:

5 medium cucumbers
(Cut each cucumber in quarters, lengthwise)
200ml vinegar
500ml water
100gms sugar
50gms salt
Dill- as much as desired for taste
30gms chopped Garlic
1tsp turmeric
20gms alum
1 Red pepper Sliced

Soak pickles in salt and water approximately 3 hours, boil water, pickles, spices, vinegar sugar, salt and turmeric. Place cucumbers, dill, onions and garlic in jars. Pour over hot liquid and seal
